Education
Nikolas is an Associate on One8’s Education team, he supports due diligence on, and strategic planning and support for, high-impact ideas in education.
Prior to joining One8, Nikolas was a Business Analyst at McKinsey and Company, where he focused on strategic growth, primarily for non-profit higher education, global non-profits, and non-acute healthcare clients. He was also an Associate at Education Resource Strategies, a K-12 strategy consulting firm, where he supported Dallas ISD in assessing the return on investment for 70+ districtwide initiatives.
Nikolas graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with degrees in Education and Economics, and has contributed to research on COVID-era border policies, Early College growth in Massachusetts, and how school systems planned to respond to the end of ESSER funding. Before Brown, Nikolas served as a City Year AmeriCorps member, teaching 6th grade ELA in a Boston Public Schools classroom.
Outside of work, Nikolas is passionate about cooking, soccer, and flying as many airlines (20 and counting across the past three years) as he can.
