Raul Ripoll Vera joined One8 Foundation in June 2026 as Vice President of Finance & Operations. In this role, he oversees the Foundation’s finance, operations, risk management, and organizational systems, ensuring that One8’s resources effectively support its mission and long-term goals.
Prior to joining One8, Raul served as Chief Financial Officer at Brooke Charter Schools, a multi-campus public school network serving thousands of students across Boston. Before relocating to the United States, he held finance and operations leadership roles in Argentina and Chile. Throughout his career, Raul has worked at the intersection of finance, operations, and social impact, supporting mission-driven organizations in education and community development.
Raul holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Project Evaluation, and graduate certificates in nonprofit management, accounting and data analytics, and education finance.
Originally from Patagonia, Raul lives in Cambridge with his family. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, playing sports, and serving his community. He currently serves as Treasurer of Cambridgeport Children's Center and a Commissioner on the City of Cambridge's Commission on Immigrant Rights & Citizenship.
